JoAnn provides Many Blessings.....

I know, I come up with corny subject lines for the blog posts, don't I? It's a gift...really. Today I'm sharing with you a card made by JoAnn using the stamp set called Many Blessings. I love the feel of this image, it's just so serene, isn't it? JoAnn did a beautiful job on this card, it just feels peaceful. I love how she adds twine to her cards, it's such a sweet touch. Wonderful job, JoAnn!

We love Wally!

Hi there!

I hope you are all having a very crafty day! I don't know about you, but I am forever needing cards. Thank you cards, birthday cards, get well cards. It never ends. I am always trying to 'build up my stash' of cards but I send them out as fast as I can make them. Am I alone here? Recently I celebrated a birthday and I have a crazy amount of thank you cards to mail out. I made several, assembly line style, and yes, they are already sent out and I need more. It's a good problem to have! Anyway, I knew that I wanted to use the Love, Wally set because I've had it for a while now and haven't had time to try it out. However, I didn't feel much like coloring and I wanted Wally to have a different feel to him, so I paper pieced. I used paper from Crate Paper/Maggie Holmes, "Open Book".  Here is the result....

I popped the different elements up for dimension and added enamel dots and called it good. How would you like Love, Wally? I'll bet you would. you know what would be cute? Turning that hat into a Santa Hat and using it for Christmas cards! If you'd like to find him quickly, just click HERE and the link will take you directly to that set.

Thanks for coming by!

JoAnn makes the snow globe stamp set come to life!

Hi everyone!

Well, the DT for MSS has been busy creating projects for October with the new release sets and I can't wait to share them all with you! I chose JoAnn's snow globe card for today's blog post. If you'd like to see her You Tube video, you can find it HERE.

How pretty did this card turn out? I just recently also received this snow globe set in the mail, and let me tell you, it has so many little decorations that you can use inside the globe, the possibilities are endless! I love how JoAnn made a little North Pole scene and she used Glossy Accents on the globe to make it look like glass. So pretty! Great job JoAnn!

Would you like to purchase that set? Make sure you run on over to the store on October 25th...that's the release date and you'll want to shop early to make sure you get your hands on it! See you there!

Have a great day!

Peek a boo cards using Monster Hugs!

I am on a thank you card making rampage! I had really been wanting to use the Monster Hugs set that Nicole sent me, so I thought they would be cute on a thank you card. Plus it's October so it feels fitting to bust out some monster thank you cards this close to Halloween, right? I was in love with the way Renee did her cards, though I never found out quite what she did to make them look like they were peeking out of the card sooooo....I winged it! I punched two holes in each card, put vellum between the layers and added an acrylic sticker over the top to make it look like a little port hole or window of some sort. Then on the inside of the card I lined up monsters so that the holes were even with an eye, or two (depending on the monster) and voila! It was a bit harder than expected to show the effect with my camera but I tried.

You can get Monster Hugs HERE!

Just thought I'd share! Have a creative type of day!
